You've built something amazing, don't let the project down with the portrait.

“Asked Lucy to take some new portraits for my solo singer-songwriter project. She was fantastic! It really felt like a collaboration and she made me feel really comfortable in the shoot (which isn't an environment I'm used to!). It was great to have a mixture of digital and film shots and edits were all turned round super fast!”

David Hewson, Man at Sea

“Lucy is an absolute pro, her level of skill and attention to detail is second to none. She delivered exactly what I wanted. Nailed the assignment; would highly recommend, again and again!”

Emma Cowsill, Echo North

“Fantastic photographer, great studio. I was a little apprehensive about the prospect of having professional headshots taken. But Lucy made the experience very comfortable and dare I say it - fun.”

Creative portraiture ~ for artists, authors and performers with a project to launch

£595 // 12 retouched portraits

A fully personalised portrait session, typically booked by musicians, comedians, authors and actors for promotional content, or anyone who wants to explore portraiture more deeply. We'll collaborate on a brief that suits your vision before we shoot. Change outfits when you like, take a break, have a tea. We'll take as long as we need.

I shoot on digital as standard. If you'd like to shoot on analogue, which I love, we can discuss this and factor in the cost of film and developing.

Headshots ~ Spotlight-ready portraits for actors and performers

£350 // 6 x retouched headshots
£295 // 3 x retouched headshots

Every session is relaxed and unrushed. Bring as many outfits as you like. The only difference between packages is how many final images you want to take away.

I will respond to all enquiries within 24 hours

I studied Fine Art at university and have spent the last twenty years working as both an artist and portrait photographer, with work published in Vogue, The Guardian and New Scientist, and exhibited at The Lowry, Hastings Contemporary and HOME Manchester.

Every portrait session is shaped by that combination, a fine art sensibility grounded in expert technical knowledge.
